Peninsular Air Services began operating Victoria's Air Ambulance in 1979 using 9 Cessna 402 Series aircraft (5 always available for operations). The Cessna 402 allowed for the expanding of the growing Air Ambulance Service to cater for other specialised ambulance transports including the Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS). |
