| The all new 1933 DP Dodge began it's manufacturing début by Dodge Brothers of the USA on the 23rd November 1932. The DP Dodge cost approx US$600-800, and came with a vee-type radiator that was slanted and slightly curved at the bottom, double interior sun visors, a single bar front bumper, fuller crowned fenders, chrome plated bowel type headlights, and finally a more streamlined appearance. Other standard features included an inline L-head six cylinder cast iron engine block, Delco-Remy ignition, hydraulic brakes, "Floating Power" engine suspension, double drop "X-type" frame construction, freewheeling, automatic vacuum clutch, selective sliding 3 speed transmission, floor shift controls, tubular front axle, floating rear axle, downdraft carburetor, air cleaner and a safety glass windshield. | |
