In
1985, the State Government converted two 1984 Leyland Buses owned by the
State Government's
Bus Company into Multi Casualty vehicles for the Victorian Ambulance
Service,
each capable of carrying 12 stretcher patients. Both vehicles were
retired from service in early 2006, never used in action.
