Ambulance Service's introduced the Mercedes Sprinter
into service in 2000. The Mercedes has been introduced
extensively throughout Victorian Ambulance.

The original Mercedes 312 Sprinter Ambulance was introduced as a trial vehicle into Victorian Ambulance Service in 2000 using the less than popular colour scheme below. Rear cabins were made by both Mader & Jakab with Mader becoming the preferred design. It's lack of power soon saw it's replacement with the Mercedes 316 CDI Sprinter version. |

In 2001 RAV introduced the updated Mercedes 316 CDI as well as a modified color scheme. This color scheme was not favored by staff and the MAS color scheme was soon adopted by RAV. |
