The Toyota Landcruiser was introduced into MAS in 2005 as a preferred alternative to the Toyota Troopcarrier for on-call stations where it works as both an on-call response vehicle, as well as a limited transport vehicle. Transporting patients, is limited mainly to extrication of the patient from 4WD terrain to stable ground where the patient is then transfered to a normal road Ambulance. It is now being replaced with the Toyota TroopCarriers. |
