January 2006

This two car accident occurred on the Lake Corangamite Rd 10 km north of Colac.  Two persons were killed, with a third person flown to Melbourne with serious leg injuries.

 
 
 

17 March 2006

This single car accident occurred on the Colac-Lavers Hill Rd, 4 km east of Lavers Hill.  Two patients were ejected with one in critical condition.  Two others were seriously injured.  Two patients were flown to Melbourne.

 

 
 
 

19 March 2006

This single car accident occurred on the Princess Hwy 6 km east of Colac trapping one person upside down in their seat.  The patient was flown to Melbourne in serious condition.

 
 

21 March 2006

This truck accident occurred on the Colac-Lavers Hill Rd, 30 km south of Colac trapping the driver.  The patient was taken to Hospital with leg injuries.

 
 

30 May 2006

This car vs semi trailer occurred on the Princess Hwy, 20 west of Colac trapping two persons.  The driver was flown to Melbourne with serious injuries, with the passenger transferred by road to Geelong Hospital also in  serious condition.

 
 

10 August 2006

This single car accident occurred on the Princess Hwy, 23 km north of Colac critically injuring the driver.   Despite efforts of the Ambulance crew, the driver died before the Ambulance Helicopter  arrived.

 
 

15 November 2006

This truck vs train occurred on the Hamilton Hwy, 45 km north of Colac.  The driver died on impact.
