The Ambulance Service in Victoria is primarily a Government run service made up primarily of two major services:

• Metropolitan Ambulance Service (MAS) which services the metropolitan region of the state,                 
                            and
• Rural Ambulance Victoria (RAV) which services the country regions of the state.
