Released on the 28th May 1951, the Ford Custom Twin Spinner replaced the Single Spinner. This new model costing £1189 in it's utility version, continued with it's V8 engine, allowing speeds of up to 86 mph. Most changes to the Twin Spinner were however cosmetic and for comfort, including an all new dash layout, lamp tail changes, and a larger rear window. Production ceased in 1952 when the new Ford Customline and the Ford Mainline was released. |
