Ambulance Service Victoria introduced the
Subaru Forester into service in 2001. 

In 2001, Victoria began introducing the Subaru Forester into service as a rapid response unit.  Whilst MAS has begun phasing
 out the Forrester with a a range of trial vehicles including the Ford Territory and Holden Adventura,
RAV continues to purchase the Forrester as it's Primary Response Unit.
